Section 04 — How it works

Four steps, start to finish

Most wardrobes go from first message to fully fitted on the same day.

Send photos

We build and anchor

Carcass assembled in the room, levelled on the floor, then anchored into solid material behind the wall.

Aligned and cleared

Doors and drawers adjusted until the gaps are even, packaging removed, and you check it before paying.

Section 05 — Why the fixing matters

Anchoring a wardrobe to a Dubai wall

The build is the easy part. What holds a two-metre wardrobe against the wall is the fixing, and Dubai homes have three very different wall types behind the paint.

Poured concrete is common in tower apartments, particularly on structural and party walls. It holds anything, but it needs a hammer drill and the right masonry bit — a cordless drill on a concrete wall will burn out the bit and leave you with a shallow, useless hole. This is the best case and the fixing will outlast the furniture.

Hollow block is what most villa and older apartment partition walls are built from. It looks solid and drills easily, which is exactly why it catches people out: a standard plastic plug spins uselessly inside the void. Hollow block needs a sleeve or toggle fixing that expands behind the face of the block, and a wardrobe anchored with the wrong plug will feel secure on the day and pull free months later.

Drywall partitions are increasingly used in newer towers and in fit-out work. The plasterboard itself carries almost nothing, so the anchor has to reach the metal stud behind it, or use a proper hollow-wall toggle rated for the load. We locate the studs before drilling rather than guessing at 400 mm centres, because fit-out framing in Dubai is not consistently spaced.

Why we never skip it. Every tall wardrobe ships with an anti-tip restraint and it is the single most important component in the box. A loaded wardrobe with the doors open puts real leverage on the top of the carcass, and tip-over accidents involving children are the reason the restraint exists. We fit it on every installation without asking, at no extra cost, and if a wall genuinely cannot take a safe fixing we will tell you before drilling rather than after.

Section 06 — What people call us about

Wardrobe problems we get called out to fix

A large share of this work is finishing or correcting a wardrobe somebody else started.

  • A half-built wardrobe abandoned mid-job with parts left over
  • Doors that will not line up, with an uneven gap down one side
  • Sliding doors coming off the track or jamming halfway
  • A wardrobe leaning forward with no anti-tip anchor fitted
  • A carcass that rocks because the floor was never levelled underneath
  • Mirrored doors hung without checking the safety backing
  • Interior rails and shelves fitted at the wrong heights for the clothes
  • A wardrobe that will not fit under a bulkhead or a lowered ceiling
  • Screw holes stripped in chipboard from a previous assembly attempt
  • A wardrobe that needs dismantling and rebuilding for an apartment move
Section 08 — Coverage

Where we install wardrobes in Dubai

Our fitters cover the whole city. Wardrobe work runs heaviest in the high-turnover tower communities — Marina, JLT, JVC, Business Bay and Discovery Gardens — where a new tenancy usually means a new wardrobe in the first fortnight, and in the villa neighbourhoods where walk-in and corner systems are more common. Downtown, Al Barsha, Silicon Oasis, Mirdif, Deira and the Palm are all same-day wherever a slot is free, and we hold access cards for most major towers.

Section 09 — Questions

Wardrobe installation questions, answered

The five things customers ask on almost every call.

How much does wardrobe installation cost in Dubai?
A two-door hinged wardrobe is from AED 350, three to four doors or a sliding system from AED 550, and a corner or L-shaped unit from AED 750. Fitting mirrored doors you have already bought is from AED 450, and interior fit-out on its own is from AED 250. Wall anchoring, levelling, door alignment and packaging removal are included in every price, and the figure is fixed before we start.
Can you install a wardrobe the same day?
Usually yes. Message before around 2 pm with photographs of the boxes and the wall, and if a slot is free in your area we can be there the same afternoon or evening. Walk-in closet systems and multi-unit installations need a day booked ahead so two fitters can be allocated.
Do you fix the wardrobe to the wall?
Always, on every installation, at no extra cost. Tall wardrobes ship with an anti-tip restraint and fitting it is the most important part of the job — a loaded wardrobe with the doors open puts real leverage on the carcass. The fixing depends on the wall: poured concrete takes a masonry anchor, hollow block needs a sleeve or toggle that expands behind the face, and drywall has to be anchored into the stud or use a rated hollow-wall toggle. If a wall cannot take a safe fixing, we tell you before drilling.
Can you install a wardrobe I bought secondhand or from overseas?
Yes. We fit wardrobes from any source — IKEA, Home Centre, Pan Emirates, Danube, overseas online sellers and secondhand purchases from Dubizzle. Secondhand units are worth flagging when you book: chipboard that has already been dismantled once strips easily at the fixing points, and we may need to plug and redrill or add brackets. We will tell you on arrival if we think it will not hold.
Can you dismantle and reinstall my wardrobe when I move?
Yes, from AED 400 per unit. We label every panel, bag the fittings by section and rebuild at the new address, including re-anchoring to the new wall. Book the dismantle and the rebuild together where you can — furniture left in parts on a moving truck loses fittings, and chipboard is more fragile the second time it goes together.
